If you aren’t familiar with Black Sheep Fridays, it is when the fine folks at MCA Denver decide that admission should be cheap, the museum should stay open late and that there should be activities not normally happening in an art museum. Past events include blanket forts, cello music and jello shots, tequila and thumb wrestling, you get the picture. This week in honor of the new exhibition of string sculptures the theme is underground cat showcase. There will be open mic cat stories, cat photo contest and human cat actor. Museum admission is $5 after 5pm, activities will be from 7-9pm. Happy hour will also be going on at the rooftop bar.
